With as much as we hear the word feminism in our day to day lives, rarely do we discuss the artist who bring this term to life. This blog is to give recognition to the creative men and women who embody, or embodied feminism through forms of art.  Feminism is an issue not only today, but since the beginning of time, and art itself. Some of the artists on this site will directly reference feminist movements, however some artists will be discussed for their work being viewed as an act of indirect feminism later in history. Please feel free to submit blog posts about feminist artists that you have been able to discuss or research, as well!
